In the framework of the promotion of mining sector, the MMCE organizes workshops called “PROMIN” the latest edition “PROMIN 2012” was held in Ouagadougou from 6 to 8 December 2012 under the theme “Mining and Community Development.” PROMIN is a framework for discussion between mining professionals, investors and policymakers, through which numerous conferences are delivered enabling actors to expose the mineral potential (technical and socio-economic aspects) and the new challenges of the mining sector in general. It is a framework for promoting both the State and mining companies as well as geo-services companies that display their expertise to the general public.
